Fuentes Fertilizantes counts on a company specializing in transport of both liquid and solid fertilizers: Logística de Fertilizantes Fuentes. That company is exclusively devoted to the transport and distribution of the merchandises issued by the marketing firm of the Group, A. Fuentes Méndez SA (Spanish Public Limited Company). For the transport of liquid fertilizers by the liter, the Logística de Fertilizantes Fuentes counts on several kinds of tanks with different capacities. All of them are homologated for transportation of dangerous goods (ADR) and have got and independent unloading system (hosepipes and pumps) and an auto cleaning system by forced air.

  • Tanks with two-axis, compartmentalized, with possibility of transporting until 3 different products and a maximum capacity of 9.000 L altogether, adequate for the distribution of little quantities farms of difficult access.
  • Tanks with three-axis, with back axis to make easier the manoeuvrability, compartmentalized and with possibility of transporting until 4 different products and a maximum capacity of 14.000 L, adequate to make easier the combinations of distribution in places of difficult access.
  • Tanks with three-axis, with 3 compartments, maximum capacity of 13.000 L and possibility of traction of an interchangeable trailer, that can be either a tank with two 5.000 L compartments or a box trailer, for the cases when it is necessary to transport liquid fertilizers by the liter and packing or bottling liquids or packing solids altogether, containers, warehouses and another auxiliary matters.
  • Tanks of great capacity (22.000L), specially designed for long trajectories, compartmentalized, with possibility of transporting until 4 different products and with the facility of manoeuvre of medium trucks thanks to their directional axis.
  • Heat-resistant tanks (22.000 L of capacity) for the own supply and the distribution of fertilizing raw materials that need the maintenance of high temperatures (60-80º c).

To transport solid fertilizers and bottling liquid fertilizers, Logística de Fertilizantes Fuentes has got ADR tow-trucks, with different tonnage and characteristics:

  • Tow-truck with three-axis, back axis and capacity to charge 14 Tm. Those vehicles count on the possibility of auto-unloading pallets weighting until 2 Tm to a distance of 10m, and in case it was necessary, they can carry an adequate transpallet to move the pallets, after the unloading, to its definitive location.
  • Swing box-truck, with useful capacities from 16 Tm to 24 Tm, to transport either solids by the pint or sacks or even, in its case, palletised merchandise.
  • Trucks with platform covered with canvas, with big tonnage, for long trajectories (27 Tm of useful charge capacity).
