At present, FUENTES counts on an adequate mark for carrying out actions of R+D+I, based on the following own resources:

A Human Team highly qualified in the scientific-technical field.

A laboratory provided with the analytical instrumentation systems which they need for developing their projects.

An experimental farm as testing ground for carrying out all the experiments.
In the exercise of its work, our R+D+I Team is receptive to setting out the study of every field problem which can be approached from the scope of fertilisation, taking part either the design of the products adapted to the new necessities of the agriculture as long as in analysing their characteristics and deepening in the knowledge of their mechanism of action, in order to optimise their conditions of use, and improve, in that way, the profitability of its application in different conditions.
That continual attention to the agriculture problems and their possible solution from the perspective of fertilising make us keep several fundamental lines of research which at this time are:
Adaptation of farming fertilization to several stress situations.
Study of the action mechanisms of the amino acid extracts applied by radicular way.
Study of foliar fertilization in the treatment of nutritional disorders and as strategy for increasing performances and quality of the citric fruits.
Simultaneously to the work in those Lines, and in the firm belief that actual agriculture really needs actions that tend to reduce the lack of coordination which exists between scientific knowledge and technical means in order to ameliorate efficiently the exploitation of natural resources, our R+D+I Team gets directly involved both in the divulgation of questions associated to the knowledge of characteristics, proprieties and recommendations of the use of fertilisers and in the development of tools which, in that sense, make easier the work to the field technicians.
On this matter, it is to say that between another achievements, there are the Edition of our Guide of Liquid Fertilizers Ipsoliq, the development of a program that calculates some nutritive solutions for Hydroponics and the work that is being presently carried out in a Project destined for improving the precision of the liquid fertilizers application by means of venturi-type injectors. The main goal of this Project is to study the relation between the flow of liquids fertilizers dosed by that kind of injectors in irrigation heads ant the nature of the fertilizers, represented by some different parameters in order to establish a possible mathematical relation between whose consideration permits to accomplish a bigger exactitude in the dosage. |
